You must check out Mama Java’s Coffee House. They are located on the Southeast corner of 36th St. & Indian School at the Gaslight Square Plaza.
It has great coffee and a good consistent wireless internet connection. So good, that it’s common to see 3-4 people with laptops working. Recently it’s become a favorite place to get some work done away from the office. Full review coming soon.

Mama Java’s serves most of its drinks in glass mugs.

Check out Q’s Coffee Bar on N.35th Ave in Phoenix. Good coffee and smoothies. Very comfortable with WiFi. Their website address is: www.QsCoffeeBar.com
I haven’t tried it so can’t say what it’s like.

You should really check out Goldbar Coffee (NE corner of Southern and McClintock). They have free wirless internet, several nights of jazz, classical guitar on Sunday mornings, and one of the best cups of coffee I have ever tasted. It is really a great place with a fun atmosphere.
There is a brief review here. – Thanks Matt!

There is a coffee shop called X-treme Bean in Tempe on Southern, east of Rural Rd. They have a great selection of coffee and pastries, including coffee milkshakes. They also have free wireless.
Here’s a little review and also you can visit xtremebean.com for details and directions.
Someone named Tim emailed me about Into the Bean Coffee House. I haven’t visited however he says the shop has free Wi Fi. Located in Mesa. – Thanks Tim!

You should add Common Ground Coffee House to the Best Coffee Shops in Phoenix with WiFi. Great atmosphere!!! Friendly staff & owner, and FREE WiFi!
It’s located on Shea Blvd in Scottsdale just about half a mile west of the 101. I have confirmed the free wifi (sometimes you have to ask for a WEP key to enter which they’ll freely give to you). – Thanks Alan!

Hello,
I am the manager at Bisbee Coffee Co. and just happened on your website. I was thrilled to see our coffee shop on your list. We take a lot of pride in the quality of our coffee.
I noticed that on the coffee shop listings you include information about the availability of Wi-Fi. We have just received it at BCC and offer it free of charge to our customers. I also noticed the writer had not yet visited our place. I hope he or she has the opportunity soon.
Many Thanks,
Glynnis Reed
The owner of Steve’s Espresso writes and mentions his new coffee shop. I haven’t tried it yet. Here’s what Steve says:
Cool, loungy atmosphere, free wi fi, french press, superior locally fresh roasted coffee. Incredible frozen granita.
I’m sometimes surprised how many coffee shops are slow to adopt WiFi. Maybe they don’t want the people sitting there for hours, or just don’t want to provide that type of service.
The last few times I’ve visited these places they haven’t had a connection.
The Village Coffee Roastery
Romancing The Bean
Areopagus Coffee
If things change and you are able to connect please leave a comment.
Arizona Coffee is a new web site being produced by Chris Tingom who lives in Scottsdale. The intent of the site is to briefly review coffee shops in and around metro Phoenix (although if we find something else in either Tucson or Flagstaff we’d be glad to visit).
I love going to coffee shops. Less so now than in the past, however it’s always great to have a nice coffee.

My other web site, ArizonaReviews.com, is the primary place I review restaurants and coffee shops, however this site will be a specific place to TALK about coffee and TALK about good places to get a great cup of coffee. Especially with friends.
I also use wireless internet at coffee shops occasionally and so I’ll be sure to mention the best places to get connected.
