September 21, 2007 Posted by Chris Tingom Filed under Uncategorized

Remember how Sagasta Salon was looking to rent out the coffee bar portion of their shop? I have good news which I received from Mario Martusciello (one of the owners of Matador Coffee Roasters):

Hey, Just wanted to give y’all a heads up… Matador Coffee has finally opened a coffee shop and retail!!!

Starting Oct.1 we’ll be @ “The Coffee Bar” 2540 E Indian School rd. (next to Sagasta Salon). We’ll be serving Panini and Pastry as well as our freshly roasted coffees, lattes, Macchiatos, cappuccinos, and Mochas. Stop by and see us Mon. – Sat. 7:00a.m. – 4:00p.m. and taste the difference.

We also invite you to join us @ The Grand opening party Sept. 29th starting at 7:00p.m. and going ’til the dawn. Come by and enjoy some of our coffees or other goodies and live sounds of Van Halen!! YEAH!!!

Word on the street is that they are now open, so stop in and say hello.

Local coffee and live Van Halen? Sign me up!

But, um, is it a Van Halen cover band? I honestly wouldn’t be too surprised if VH was actually there!
