Barry Collins wrote to let us know about Roadrunner Coffee Co. in Tucson. I believe we’ve covered them in the past, but maybe not. They have two locations in the NW Tucson area.

Been there a few times wasn’t impressed at all. Espresso very watery and no creama.

The best coffee in Tucson, go all the time. Espresso very smooth not bitter like so many others. Plus they do a lot for the community artist and school fundraisers and local churches. Great Place!

I’ve had Jason’s espresso, and trust his judgment. I applaud their community contributions, but in the end they’re a coffee shop. If they’re not getting decent crema on their shots, it’s a strong indication that they’ve failed at their basic [i]raison d’etre[/i].
It’s a bit of a jaunt, but I’ll go check ‘em out .

These comments are just a bit off. I don’t think the JC ever when to Roadrunner coffee. I have gone since it opened in 2004. Good creama and some of the best shots I have seen. The espresso is strong and smooth. 2 shots in a tall 12oz. Wrong shop JC, also Pugsley the owner should think his coffee is good. thats why they are still in busy!! A must for really good coffee. Employees are wonderful and so friendly.
