Tonight is Arizona’s 1st Latte Art Throwdown. An event I hope becomes a monthly or quarterly event. Hosted by Press Coffee and sponsored by Ground Control Coffee, Arizona Coffee, and Judged by Chris Tingom and Todd Welfelt.

Wow! Tonight was so much fun. We had 9 competitors in the latte art competition. About 30 people came and I’ve had about 10 lattes tonight if I’m counting correctly.
I have tons of photos, video, and the results of the competition. We gave out a 1st and second prize.
Todd says:
Last night was simply electric! For those of you who were unable to attend last night, prepare yourselves for the next competition. Press Coffee has offered to host another one soon and several of the other shops that were represented last night indicated interest in hosting as well. After last night’s success I am sure this will become a regular event in Arizona!
