Celebrating 5 Years of Publishing
March 26, 2010 Posted by Chris Tingom Filed under Uncategorized
Today marks a special occasion, this site is turning 5 years old! It’s been quite an adventure. I’ve met many wonderful people through this site, and had so many awesome drinks from so many awesome baristas I can’t count them all.

The funny thing about this is that when I first launched Arizona Coffee, on this day in 2005, I didn’t really know much about coffee. I just really loved getting out of the house and going to new coffee shops. The site served mostly as a list of coffee shops that provided free wireless internet… because 5 years ago, it was still a rare luxury. So I made this site as a list of good coffee shops with free wireless internet.
Then, after about a year it all started coming together, and over the years I’ve developed quite a palette and taste for coffee… now I drink almost exclusively cappuccinos (but it depends on what shop I’m at, sometimes if I know a particular shop doesn’t make ‘em good, I’ll get something safe).
A big shout out to all of my wonderful sponsors — past and present — for helping to make this web site possible. It gives me the opportunity to try coffee, and hopefully share with you, my readers, where to get the best coffee.

Congratulations. This blog has been an incredible way to get the truth about coffee from the consumer’s point of view. Looking forward to many many years.
