arizonacoffee.com

March 30, 2011Posted by Chris Tingom

Arizona-Coffee.com is now ArizonaCoffee.com

When I first launched this site I registered both arizonacoffee.com and arizona-coffee.com, but chose to use the URL with the dash since at the time sites like Yahoo and Google were suggesting it helped with ranking for those keywords. Old links to old blog posts at arizona-coffee.com will continue to work long-term.

The forum is currently not live, but I’ve wanted to transition to a new forum software anyways. I’ll restore that and work on a transition plan in April.

Carmel’s Coffee

March 28, 2011Posted by Chris Tingom

A new coffee shop called Carmel’s Coffee has opened at 44th St. and Camelback Rd. It is a shop that has coffee supplied by Cartel Coffee Lab. It’s in the same complex as Havana Cafe, if you are familiar with that corner. I stopped in the other night, but must have just missed them (they close at 5 pm).

Carmel’s Coffee is a newly established local coffee house in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona. Located on the southwest corner of 44th and Camelback just west of the Londen Center, we hope to provide a cool environment for enjoying coffee, conversation, and wifi to keep you in touch with the world.

Thanks to Brian Clemens for the tip.

Arizona Traveler: Los Angeles

March 19, 2011Posted by Chris Tingom

Later in April I’ll be making a weekend trip to Los Angeles. It’s been about a year since my last trip, but this time I’ll have more time to visit coffee shops, and the beach! What are some of the must visits for a coffee fan in Los Angeles, and the surrounding area?

Avenue Coffee is finally Cartel Coffee Lab

March 15, 2011Posted by Chris Tingom

I finally had a chance to visit Cartel Coffee Lab in Tucson last month after a quick trip to Bisbee.

On the way back, though, I was surprised to see that the signs still say Avenue Coffee (photo above taken in February). However, inside the shop everything says Cartel, so hopefully no confusion! Well, it sounds like they’re finally changing the signage and they should have the new ones up on Wednesday. Cool.
