Have had a Cuadra 001-R for over a year and am having following problem: processing time for a coffee was almost immediately and now it takes about 20 seconds before dripping comes out of group, before it was almost immediately. Noticed there is dripping for 10 minutes aprox. The pressure is perfect. I am in Douglas Arizona and would like to have the espresso machine checked by you and would not mind driving down to phoenix. The problem is that our small coffee shop would be left without a coffe/esspreso machine. Could you kindly recommend what we can do….Sincerely, Gustavo B Ruiz

I might want to clarify that the position we’re looking to fill is not necessarily “an expert web designer with college credentials”, but rather a coffee connoisseur with basic knowledge in the use of common HTML editing software (supplied by us) and a creative mind.

This is also a good opportunity for someone who is interested in learning roasting and sourcing of green coffee.

Sure, it works just like a stove top macchina per caffe, or moka pot. You set your cup on top and the caffe goes right in to the cup instead of the top of the moka.
Not sure if there is any difference in flavor from the usual pot, but it sure is cute.

This is a variation on the Moka Espresso which I use quite a bit. Water goes in the bottom container, grounds in a small filter and it perks up into the top – or straight into the cup. I wouldn’t recommend it for anything to fancy, but it makes a decent cup in the backcountry or when you miss Italy.

Nothing wrong with this. McMann’s isn’t worried about the the cheap prime rib dinner at the strip club down the street from them, no decent coffee shop should worry about them serving cheap-ass crap coffee in their li’l strip club.

It may work for buffalo wings and beer, but not for coffee. I don’t know anyone who goes to both Hooter’s AND Starbucks on a regular basis. It’s just not that common. I can’t remember the last time I went to Hooter’s.
