This little coffee company runs itself out of the back of a converted Studebaker. How cool. Check out the photo and article. Elixer Coffee Solutions 10661 N. Oracle Road in front of the Fry’s Food & Drug Store
Jason Haeger How rad is that? I had a friend who had a ’54 Studebaker wagon. Fully restored with a ’57 Avanti Supercharged 289 under the hood. The thing is original and very sweet to ride in. Coffee.. and a classic car? Together? In one operation? Sign me up! I just hope the quality of the product matches the originality of the concept. 0 Reply May 1, 2006
Chris Tingom I know, it’s seriously a cool idea for a coffee cart. I bet it gets hot in the summertime though. 0 Reply May 1, 2006
Brian Bunnell Renee and Cha are phenomenal hosts with nostalgia emanating the Studebaker. The view of the Catalina Mountains, exceptional. It was closing in on 100 degrees when I stopped in and the Chai Chillixer Frappe was a delightful coolness that stimulated my taste buds, not to mention the caffeine kick was appreciated (I had been up since 03:00). If you ever need a boost or a smile, stop by. These two individuals can provide both. 0 Reply June 26, 2006
carol garey Elixer is the best jump start in town. Where else can you find an honest-to-goodness barista serving organic coffee from a vintage truck at the crack of dawn? Renee’s passion for her brews is only equaled by her esprit de corps— partner Charlie, loyal customers, kids and friendly canines. BRAVA!! 0 Reply June 27, 2006
Lizzy I am a devout follower of Renee and wherever she goes and elixer is unbelievable! She makes my quad shot latte feel like a little hug from the inside-DIVINE! I am part of the growing Renee’s fan club. I wake up each morning happy to start my day at elixer and see Charlie and Renee always smiling and the genuine people they attract is such a pleasure. By the way, congrats Charlie and Renee! It was a beautiful event and you guys know how to throw a reception. You guys are the best and the whole gang supports your next smashing success! And your right Charlie, Renee really IS a goddess. 0 Reply July 17, 2006
Nicole I have been going to elixer for two years now and it is the best espresso and coffee in Tucson. The setting is majestic, the detail impeccable and the aroma is intoxicating. Everyone knows that Renee is the best, and one of the coolest, laid back chic I know. She runs the show, like a great barista should and I could not be more pleased to tell everyone I know about her and her business, even though I work in a cafe myself! 0 Reply July 19, 2006
Charlie Thanks Scott, let me try…This button, I think… Elixer Coffee Solutions is a very unique place. In addition to the best coffee in the southwest, you get to enjoy great atmosphere and great hosts in Renee and Charlie. There is a lot of space to park your bike, or whatever you’re driving. If it is a Studebaker or a Ducati, be ready for some fun conversation. Give it a try and get a cuppa joe from the best – Elixer! It wouldn’t let me post this – I guess I’m too biased. 🙂 0 Reply July 26, 2006
Autumn There is no other coffee…..Elixir serves up the only coffee as far as I’m concerned. Others are just players. And I can’t imagine what the world would be like without Renee and Charlie. You two really are the best! 0 Reply August 2, 2006
John & Darlene We can’t stand the heat so we headed to Minnesota for the summer. The bad news is we miss the greatest coffee at Elixer and the company of Renee and Charlie. We are counting the days till we return to Tucson for the winter and can once again sip that wonderful java while viewing the Catalinas. What a way to start the day. 0 Reply August 6, 2006
