I’m at Mama Java’s Coffee House to chill out and get some work done at the same time. It’s Sunday night and they’re just about to get started with some music. There are some guys talking in the corner about how much weight they could lift back in the day. I’m sitting on the couch with a good view.

Just for kicks I ordered a mocha tonight. I’m awarding myself a large drink just because I’ve had such a productive weekend. The owner (Lisa McKay) took my order and suggested coconut flavoring. Give it a try sometime! It’s quite good (I’d order it again).

Drinking this coconut mocha reminds me that I ran out of Torani flavoring at the office. I picked up some vanilla and white chocolate last week for making Italian Soda’s. I need to stop by Cost Plus to get some more. I’ll have to do that tomorrow. I’m excited to make a drink for one of my clients.

There are five people tonight at the coffee shop who will be playing music. I just heard the lead guitarist say that they’re starting early (7:30). I get the distinct impression that within a half hour this place will be full to the brim.

Ok, there are now seven guys playing bluegrass together. It’s a sweet melody and I can tell that once they get warmed up I won’t regret coming.

I’d better get to work.
