A new coffee house has opened in Globe called vida e caffe. I discovered an article in the Arizona Silver Belt newspaper about the store and it’s quite an entertaining read. Everything from the way the writer describes the owner (think Matrix) and her excitement that a new coffee house has opened in… Globe… Arizona. Well, it’s cool. If anybody should happen to be out in Globe soon, do give it a try.

The new shop is open at 157 W. Cedar St., right across from the Globe fire Department. Hours are 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and from 6:30 a.m. “until you say” on Fridays and Saturdays.

Meeting owner Desmond Baker was like meeting “Morphesis” from the Matrix. I thought, where has this guy been! Finally, someone has rescued me from what I thought were coffee shops and given me a dose of the real deal . . . vida e caffe.

This coffee shop will do what its meant to do and then some. It is a highly relational place, with something cultural always involved. Like music, live skip comedy, and improv. Vida e caffe is a place that will evoke many good memories for a lot of people in and around our area.

  1. Someone sent me this link which I found kind of interesting because I met Chris Tingom one time at Creative Connect like a year and a half ago. Its weird that I even remember the name of anyone that I met there. The other thing is that I am one of the owners of Vida e Caffe.

It was a very nice article that she wrote about our shop. I will let someone else tell about the coffee.
