Update: This shop has closed. I visited Areopagus Coffee for the first time about two weeks ago and enjoyed my visit quite a bit. The most interesting thing, besides the good coffee was that the staff knew almost everyone by name. This may not be a surprise to most baristas and coffee shop owners but it’s rare to observe in the wild. Areopagus Coffee is family owned and operated. In fact, all of the staff that morning were family (I think so, anyways). The exterior is in serious need of large signage. It was hard to spot from the parking lot. Clean interior. Lots of fresh baked goods. Comfortable seating and free wireless internet. Latte. Areopagus Coffee 20851 N. Scottsdale Rd, #D-103 Scottsdale, AZ 85255 (Rd/Grayhawk — right next to the Pei Wei’s)
