The Arizona Republic reports that a Coffee Plantation is in the works for Fountain Hills. The Fountain Hills Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended that the Town Council approve plans for the town’s first Coffee Plantation. The coffee shop will be in the Firerock Plaza, 17225 E. Shea Blvd. Richard Turner, planning and zoning administrator, said that the council would consider three special-use permits for the coffee shop. The business is requesting special-request permits for extended hours, from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.; a drive-through; and outdoor seating. Coffee Plantation stores are not franchised. They are independently and locally owned, which allows some creativity in store design. CP Coffee Houses LLC owns the Fountain Hills store. The recipes and the products are the same in every store.
Eddie The Fountain Hills drive-through will be the third store we open this year and the second drive-through. Today marks the two week anniversary of our first drive-through venture at FLW and 100th St. in Scottsdale. I look forward to a visit from everyone on Arizona Coffee and remember that we have free wifi! 0 Reply May 2, 2007
Michael T Darnit…and the FLW + 100 store is just a few blocks from my home. Thanks for providing a respectable, local alternative to Starbucks, CP! 0 Reply May 3, 2007
