After a short sabbatical Elixer Coffee Solutions has resurfaced at Harlow Gardens Nursery. Owners / Operators Renee and Charlie wrote to announce the news and provided a couple of great photos. The company, if you remember, operates out of a Studebaker truck. They boast Intelligentsia Direct Trade coffees. If you’re in Tucson, be sure to stop in and taste the coffee. Psyd Holy Doubleshots, Batman, another great espresso source! This one three lights from my girlfriends house! Not to mention a local source for Black Cat, and other Intelligenstia coffees. Welcome back to the biz, Renee, and welcome to Tucson! y’all go get a cuppa at the truck, ’cause it’s good, and it’s funky-cool, and we don’t want to have another excuse for another extraordinary espresso shop to shut down. 0 Reply May 15, 2009
Psyd Ah, it was perfect! Stayed at my girlfriend’s house, so that I could get up early and fix her cooler, and woke up to turn on the Silvia to warm her up, and realized that I only had about five grams of beans left… Ten minutes later I was standing on grounds of the nursery, sipping a perfect cappa. The Black Cat espresso was great! Sweet, with a touch of chocolate and very round and mellow. I brought my own cup, and Renee warmed it with water from the boiler without batting an eye. Charlie was there as well, and we had a great chat while I waited. The coffee is excellent, and the location is very, very nice. Great source of Intelly coffees in Tucson, again, too! 0 Reply May 22, 2009
