Do you check-in? There’s Yelp, Foursquare, Facebook Places, Brightkite (does anyone still use it?), Google+ Locations, Gowalla, and probably a hundred other tools for checking into a location. I admit, I’ve tried them all, but only rarely check into a place any longer. I prefer to just tweet my location and a few observations (or a picture). But, I’m curious how prevalent is usage of location-services in Arizona? Does your favorite coffee shop reward you for your loyalty? Do you use location check-in apps on your phone?
Daniel My friends and I will do this from time-to-time, but you need to be careful about checking other people in without asking them first. 0 Reply August 15, 2011
Ethan I’ll check in via Yelp every now and then, but only to remind me to write a full review later. 0 Reply August 15, 2011
Chris Tingom I’ve done the same, Ethan. Or simply to bookmark it for when I’m trying to decide where to go. 0 Reply August 15, 2011

Jaime Aguila Ugh. No thanks, I would like to enjoy my coffee in my own ignorance and peace, without having to check in with anyone or anything. 0 Reply August 19, 2011
Matt @ Skinny Coffee I usually check in to FourSqure since it’s more anonymous (and rewarding) than Facebook. Btw.. I heard that Gowalla has a feature that let’s you sync to all the other location based sites, if anyone is a hard core check-in major/duke/etc. 0 Reply August 25, 2011
