Brian Clemens, your local BGA representative has a little announcement for valley members. He says “The Barista Guild of America announced today that a benefit of membership is group health insurance. I posted a short blog about the guild and this announcement, but more importantly baristas and coffee professionals can read it for themselves from the BGA.” Brian goes on to explain what the BGA is about, saying “The guild has always been an organization that is FOR the barista, standing together with coffee professionals and their craft. Offering both professional development and connecting baristas into the community. As we know, insurance is expensive! There are many reasons to join the guild and this one sweetens the pot just a little more.”
