A new coffee shop has recently opened up in Mesa along Main St. The new coffee shop is called Lost Dutchman Coffee and is operated by longtime coffee roaster Victor Kessler. I recently had a chance to visit and check out the new shop and wanted to share it here, along with some photos! They only opened in March and are quickly gaining attention in Mesa. Besides serving coffee, they also have ice cream, and lunch options like soup and panini sandwiches. We stopped in and had a cappuccino, coffee, and some of their cookies. I remember only a few years ago when Mesa didn’t have any coffee shops worth writing home about. Now, there are several! My cappuccino. The interior is almost entirely wood floors and wood paneling. It has taken them several months to complete the build out and renovations of the interior. Lost Dutchman Coffee Roasters’ distinctive yellow color graces the walls. Check that out! A real pool table with plenty of room to play. The water filtration system at Lost Dutchman is a work of art. Built entirely custom by Victor Kessler, the owner. I tried a before and after taste of the water and it’s stunning how much it improves the Mesa water. The espresso machine and grinders along with the menu boards. They use their own coffee beans, of course, since they operate a coffee roasting operation (and have for years). Check out all of the seating and awesome tables. Pretty cool place to settle down with a laptop, or just for lunch or coffee. I’ll definitely be back soon. Lost Dutchman Coffee 12 N Center St Mesa, AZ 85201 Phone: (480) 969-1233
